This large 32x60 building contains a 120 psf lower floor system easily capable of holding as many cars or people as can fit in there. The building was a real challenge with a very knowledgeable and engaged client who had been dreaming of this for years--and who had put an enormous amount of thought and effort into its design. It took us some time to master the details--but the upshot is a masterpiece of creativity and craftsmanship and perseverance (through alternating hot and extremely wet weather in the summer of 2009). My hat is off and my heart filled with gratitude to Lucas for heading it up--along with Ryan, Lars and Jonathan whose teamwork made it all possible.
