After being contacted by an architect in VA who is also a GC we decided to build this structure as a spec house near a popular ski resort in VA where he currently owns a small subdivision. It was a wonderful experience working with him as a wonderful human being, and also because he wanted us to do the majority of the finish work as well...so we got to learn a lot and develop further skills in that bailiwick that we normally leave to to (local) others....

We got a lot of positive feedback from the realtors both in terms of the unique design and creativity and the relatively low cost for the area (about $120/sf complete) that we hope will propel a likely sale...if so...our client is ready to build two more just across the street...
