This barn almost didn’t happen… Early in permitting, the town determined that a ramshackle garden shed might potentially be an historic structure.  After careful survey determined otherwise, the garden shed was removed, revealing a surprisingly large den (nest, lair?) of raccoons. Lengthy and frustrating discussions with animal control and other public agencies pushed the schedule into winter.
