A quiet winter retreat hanging off a mountainside
Located within the expansive Wintergreen resort community, in the mountains of Virginia, this small home is intended as a family destination for multi-season vacations. The Geobarns structural system was useful here not only for its aesthetic quality, which fits right into a ski community, but also for the ability to keep large areas of the main volume open for maximum flexibility.
