Chickahominy Falls, a planned community built around sustainable agriculture and farm-to-table lifestyle, has been awarded Best Community of the Year for 2020 by the Home Builders Association of Virginia.

What started five years ago at Cornerstone Homes with an idea, plenty of research, inspiration and good old-fashioned hard work, reached back around full circle to meet the highest aspiration. Last week, the Richmond homebuilder was awarded Virginia’s Community of the Year at the Home Builders Association of Virginia’s 2020 Housing Excellence Awards for its unique 55+ agri-community, Chickahominy Falls.
Working with Cornerstone Homes to design and build The Woodside Farm Geobarn has been one of our most rewarding experiences, as the teams behind Cornerstone and Geobarns both share a passion for responsible development that is harmonious with both land and community. We’re particularly happy to have been part of the design and construction of the community centerpiece at Chickahominy Falls – the Farm Stand, which serves as sales office, and community space… right in the middle of the community’s working farm.
